Jamel Reed Ministries was established in 1993. He grew up in South Carolina in the Angelus Community. Jamel attended church with his maternal Grandmother and was trained as an acolyte and usher in the Mt. Elon United Methodist Church, where he would eventually deliver his initial sermon. After studying the Word of the Lord and hearing the Gospel preached concerning the water baptism in Jesus’s Name and the gift of the Holy Ghost, Jamel would come to know this more excellent way, the Apostolic Faith. Jamel continued preaching until the time came for him to launch his own ministry. He is the founder and presiding prelate of the International Temple of Deliverance Ministries Apostolic, which currently oversees two ministries, Ruach City of Refuge (Atlanta, GA), and Solomon’s Porch City of Miracles (Florence, SC). Jamel is also the founder and prelate of the Greater Works International Fellowship of Churches and Ministries, and oversees Redirection Ministries (Buffalo, NY). Jamel has traveled extensively throughout the world preaching in Oranjestad, Aruba, St. Thomas, USVI, and the continent of Africa (Nigeria). Additionally, he serves as a hospice chaplain, and over 10 years as a former special education teacher. There are many more things that Jamel endeavors to do and will.
